My Review of the TecTecTec VPRO DLX S Golf Rangefinder
The TecTecTec VPRO DLX S golf rangefinder was released to the market in September 2016. It came out after the TecTecTec VPRO500S but before the TecTecTec ULT X. In terms of performance it is better than the VPRO500S but not as good as the ULT X. If you want to read a more comprehensive comparison between the TecTecTec VPRO500S, VPRO DLXS and ULT X, then please look at this article: TecTecTec VPRO500S vs TecTecTec ULT X.
The TecTecTec VPRO DLXS golf rangefinder does not have as many features as the Blue Tees Series 3 Max and Series 2 Pro golf rangefinders which come with vibration after flag lock. However, the TecTecTec VPRO DLXS is still an affordable golf rangefinder that uses slope adjustment to give you accurate distance measurements for uphill and downhill shots.
The TecTecTec ULT X has a longer range than the VPRODLXS and VPRO500S. The TecTecTec VPRODLX S has a 600 yard range to hazards but it has a shorter 200 yard range to flags. The 600 yard range to hazards is longer than the 540 yard range of the TecTecTec VPRO500S but it is shorter than the 1000 yard range of the ULT X.
The TecTecTec VPRO500S has a shorter range to flags than the VPRODLXS and ULT X. The 200 yard range to flags of the TecTecTec VPRODLXS is longer than the 150 yard range to flags of the TecTecTec VPRO500S but it is shorter than the 400 yard range to flags of the TecTecTec ULT X.
It has a rainproof body like every other TecTecTec rangefinder which means can only tolerate a light shower. It has the latest technology which enables it to make more accurate measurements than the other TecTecTec rangefinders that came before it. It can acquire the distance to pins, trees, sand bunkers and water hazards.
It has the letter ‘S’ at the end of the name which means it has slope compensation technology. This slope technology will calculate the elevation adjusted distance to any object.
The VPRODLXS uses advanced Pinsensor technology to acquire the distance to a flagstick. It will give you accurate readings even if there are overlapping targets, such as a flog with wooded areas behind it. It has a measurement locking function that is indicated by a flashing flag icon on the viewfinder. This tells you that the device has locked onto the target and acquired the distance to the target.
It has readings that are accurate to within +/- 1 yard. After one look through our multilayer lens, you’ll have a comprehensive idea of the surroundings so you can bring your game to the next level.
If you purchase this rangefinder, you will also receive a shock-resistant premium carrying case, CR2 battery, wrist strap, microfiber cleaning cloth and quick start guide. The shock-resistant case protects your device from impacts and bad weather. The case has a smart, high visibility, yellow design that enables you to easily find your rangefinder.
